After months of flinging stuff at me, I finally impulse-bought the Elekstube ISP – which is the best life-like ‘nixie’ clock kit I’ve come across.
I love that it uses an FTDI and ESP32, so custom firmware is possible. While there are lots of knock-offs, I decided to just get the one straight from the source. I may grab another to tinker with and leave this one pristine.
OOB WiFi is not in the source however, the ESP32 hardware does support it, so the option to use an NTP source is there.
