I made grilled cheese and tomato soup today. I had been wanting to make a tomato soup from scratch and had intended on doing a beef broth-based one but had this recipe handy.
I did not cook it for the full 40 minutes, but rather brought it to just a boil and then ate. You could definitely tell that it would have been better after the 40 mins. And leftovers will be great.
All in all, not quite the flavour I was going for, but not bad since I didn’t really follow the recipe to the fullest and rushed the cooking process.
