We made this recipe tonight. Instead of a slice of bread, I cut up and toasted the loaf almost like olive-oil tossed croutons and then coated the concoction with the cheese blend.

I thought the everything was excellent – but – our small bowls meant the broth-to-cheese+bread ratio was quite off and it ended up being quite heavy.

Will make some adjustments next time (if I can convince the littles to let me make it!) and post my version of the recipe. Hopefully, I’ll remember a pic next time.
